Sam Reinhart was a member of the Kootenay ICE, before being drafted 2nd overall in 2014 by the Buffalo Sabres. Reinhart's accolades include WHL Rookie of the Year Award in his 2011-12 season, and WHL Player of the Year, as well as CHL and WHL Sportsman of the Year in his draft season of 2013-14. Reinhart also has a decorated international resume with Team Canada, with gold medals at the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship, the 2013 IIHF U18 World Championship and the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament, as well as a bronze medal at the 2012 IIHF U18 World Championship.
